Other Interests
He loved to read especially Sci-Fi stories. He also loved to write and the stories were Sci-Fi. I never understood why he liked Sci-Fi. I didn't know how good he was at writing until I got to read the only one that he had printed up. It blew me away. It was awesome.
He loved to walk especially in the woods. He said he would just lose track of time in them.
He loved animals. He wanted to help every stray that he saw. I had to say no. One day he walked into the house and said look what I found. It was a silver point siamese kitten. I ended up letting him keep it. He had such a tender caring heart that he was good with animals they seemed to really like him. He also took the time and had patience enough to talk and play with young kids.
Hanging out with his best friend Jesse Robinson was one of the things he really enjoyed. If Jesse wasn't at our house Josh was over at his house.
He loved video games. He and Jesse would stay up until the wee hours of the morning playing them. He usually beat them in a few days or a week at the most.
He loved being on his computer. Josh created some of his own programs. He would shake his head and help me when I didn't know how to do the task that I wanted to do. I would have to ask him to show me what he was doing instead of just doing it himself.
Being with his brother, Jim, was something that Josh thought was so cool. Even though he was out numbered by his five sisters he had fun with them. Although it seemed that with his three younger sisters he had them playing or doing what he wanted to do.
Even though Josh was larger than most of his friends and other people his age or younger he would not use that to get what he wanted. He was very kind and he showed respect for adults and was a true gentleman.
